Ladies Alive

4/19/16

As most of you  know I started on an amazing health journey in January with a 24 day challenge with AdvoCare. When I signed up to do my first 24 day challenge on January 11th, 2016. I could of never imagined my life where it is now. I was so excited to start the 24 day challenge, and excited to do something for myself for once. I took this on knowing this would be out of my comfort zone, but I wanted a change, I wanted a better me emotionally and physically. It has changed my life and my families life in so many ways possible. It was a yes to a better me, but that yes has become much more! I have gone on to lose 15 pounds and coach over 15 people through their 24 day challenge and beyond. There is no better joy then giving back and seeing the happiness in people's daily life...

A few weeks ago our team went to an amazing event in San Diego called Ladies Alive. It truly was life changing. To be in a room with so many women and such empowering women at that, it has touched my heart and I left their feeling empowered, motivated and wanted a whole new me. Someone who can help others not only see the beauty in themselves and how truly good it feels to take care of yourself, but to want more and more out of life.  So many of us our searching for more …time with family … extra income … freedom from debt … an overall balanced and healthy lifestyle. It was truly an amazing day, and I am so thankful for all of the many amazing women, and friends I have made along the way. They lift me up and help me be a better me everyday!

17 Months and Growing

4/14/16

A little late, but I can't believe our sweet girl is 17 months already! Not sure where the time goes, but all I know is it goes WAY too fast! We love you our sweet Haylee...You are a quick ball of fire and can be supper sassy at times (well most of the time) but your kind heart, sweet kisses, and big hugs make it all go away! Thank you for loving your brother and teaching him so much, and most of all I secretly love that you are a daddy's girl💞  You love to take your brother's Ipad, and throw a fit when we have to change your diaper. You love your ba-ba's and pray that will go away, but for now you are still a baby and that's ok. You are so attached to your dog-dog and can't go anywhere with out it. You truly are the sweetest little girl and God made you perfectly...

We can Bike....

Well all I can say is this day is TRULY one for the books in the Lopez home!!! I cannot believe that my sweet boy rode a bike for the very first time today..."crying as I write" I never thought this day would come (well I knew one day) but just when I needed it the most! The past few weeks have been a little rough on my heart. I have had some moments of sadness in terms of my Dylan. Not that I am sad for him, but I get sad in the fact at how much harder everything is for him ...in life. I just wish it could be easier for himBut the lord made Dylan just the way he is and needs to be. He helps me to look at life differently, he helps me to push and be better at everything in life and always strive for only the best! He shows me love always and unconditionally, which so much of our world needs more of. He teaches me how to stay strong and fight for in my beliefs and ALWAYS be a strong mama!! People ask me "isn't it hard"???? All I can say to anyone who ever wonders is-"it's not hard, it's all I know" you would do it for your child right???" My son is FREAKING amazing and I am so DARN proud of him today!! Do I worry about his future, you better believe it. I get scared that no one will Love him as much as his mommy and daddy and friends and family. Do I lie awake some nights wondering how is future will be...yup! But I do know one thing is for sure is this kid is so amazing and one heck of a rock star!!! Dylan I will fight for you everyday to ensure you have an amazing life and that this mama will strive and work as hard as she needs to, to ensure your life is filled with so much happiness and joy! Happy day and cheers to milestones!!!

Spring Break

This was the first year I guess you could say we had a spring break. With Dylan's first year of school we actually get to have some holidays. We actually did not have anything planned as this is a busy time for the hubby and tax season. So everyday we decided to do something different since we were just staying around home...

The first day my mom and I took the kids to a petting zoo close to our house. We fed the animals, went on a train ride and played in the park. After work Greg met us at Ruby's for a good old fashion dinner. The kids love it there! The  next couple of days my sister was down at the beach camping for a few days, so the kids and I decided to head down there and play in the beach and have some dinner. Haylee and Dylan had so much fun! One of the days they decided to dive in with their clothes in the tide pools. It was the cutest thing in the world and I am pretty sure we will spending some days down at the beach this summer. The last few days of the week we got rain, so we found some fun activities and watched a movie. I actually was ready for a little relaxing day since our days earlier in the week were pretty busy. We can't wait for next year!!

Easter

4/8/16

One thing that I love most is spending time with my family and especially on holidays! We are all so close and making the holidays special is always something that not only I will remember, but the memories for our kids...

Easter was filled with yummy food, swimming, Easter egg hunts and enjoying a few glasses of wine! We spend the afternoon at my dad and step mom's house with my mom, my sister and her family and of course my family. The weather was so beautiful and the kids had so much fun with all their Easter gifts and the chocolate they got from the Easter egg hunt!! There faces were priceless...Hope you all had an awesome Easter as well. I am thankful for this life the Lord has given me and all of the blessings he has truly blessed us with!

School Field Trip

A few weeks ago Dylan had a fun field trip planned with his school class. I always like to take advantage of being involved and going to these now that I am home. I had a sitter for Haylee because I wanted to focus all my attention on my sweet Dylan and enjoy this time with him! Haylee and I get a lot of mommy and me time while brother is at school. We went to Pretend City and had such a blast. Dylan did so awesome and he was exploring everything...(which I was surprised) but he did great! We got to eat lunch with his class and mommy got to take him home a little bit earlier. Such a fun day with his class and we can't wait to do it again!
