Dear Dylan::3 Months Old

9/26/12

Mr. Dylan I cannot believe another month has gone by. How the time fly's. You are the most loving caring little boy a mommy and daddy could ever ask for. God truley has blessed us with the most amazing little boy!
  • You weigh 10 pounds 6 ounces
  • This last 2 weeks you have been on a great routine. We give you a bath at 6:30 then feed you and you are ready for bed by 8:30.
  • When I wake you in the morning you smile at me and that makes me look forward to my mornings.
  • Mommy and Daddy cannot mess with you in the morning, you have to be fed right away.
  • You love your swing where you take most of your naps.
  • Your eating almost 5 ounces everytime you eat.
  • You love to watch your baby einsteins. I think the first time I had you watch it you watched all 30 minutes of it.
  • You love your baths.
  • You smile and talk all the time now and we cannot get enough of it.
  • You are almost holding your head up. With a little more practice we will get you there.
  • Tummy time is one of your favorite unless you are cranky.
  • Thank you for being such an amazing little boy. You love your mommy and daddy so much and we love you right back.

Wedding Bliss

9/25/12

This past weekend my dear and best friend Michelle got married to her long time boyfriend now "husband" Josh. Michelle and I have been friends since junior high. I was so lucky to be one of her bridesmaids. I was so excited to be apart of this beautiful day! This was also Greg and I first date night out without our little Dylan. At first I was wondering what the heck to do with myself but it was actually very nice to be out with my husband and enjoy some time with our very dear friends and dance the night away. The wedding was absolutely beautiful and we are so excited for them!!! They are off to Italy to enjoy a wonderful honeymoon.

Dylan's Heart Surgery

9/22/12

So Wednesday we finally met with Dylan's heart surgeon and we have scheduled for his surgery on Tuesday November 6. We will check in at 6:00am sharp and his surgery will be at 7:30am. The surgery will be anywhere from 2 to 3 hours depending on what they will need to do. Once Dylan is asleep they will do an echo on him to look at where they will be fixing everything and then will start the procedure. Once they are done they will do another echo just to ensure they did everything they need to do to make this surgery a success. Dylan will not be aloud to eat after midnight, which is fine because he does sleep through the night but our little man is usually starving right when he wakes up. You cannot mess with him in the morning! So we decided to wake him up around 10 and feed him so he is not so hungry in the morning when we get to the hospital. After surgery Dylan will be in the hospital anywhere from 5 to 10 days depending on his recovery and how he is eating. They always want the babies to be eating normal before they leave hospital. I am not sure if many of you know but November 6 is also Greg and I wedding anniversary, it is also the same day we found out we were pregnant and it is now the same day Dylan will be having his surgery! This is a very successful day and Dylan is going to do awesome!!

Our Weekend::Simple and Sweet

9/17/12

After a long week I was so looking forward to this weekend. On Friday Greg took his second round of his series 65 test and missed it by 3 points!!! It was so frustrating and my husband was so upset. I mean come on 3 points away...It's ok sweetie, because 3 times is a charm. You will do it! Friday night after a long and stressful day waiting to hear from Greg we went and had a nice dinner with my sister and brother in law while grandma stayed home with all the kids. Saturday we worked on the house and ran some errands so we can get this house done by our goal date. Sunday I woke up and went to hot yoga. It has been a long time since I went to a class. I forgot how awesome they are and it is such a stress reliever. After my class we went back down to the house to see how things were coming along and enjoyed an afternoon lunch with the grandma's. Love our weekend's!

Baby Feet

9/16/12

There is just something about these little toes that I absolutely love! They just make me smile...

Happy Hump Day

9/12/12

This week so far has been a pretty crazy one! Between renovating our house, Greg studying for his test and Dylan's doctors appointments and therapy sessions we cannot wait for the weekend!!! This little man makes my week's all worth while....

Under Construction

9/10/12

Well we are oficially under construction. Not sure if many of you know but Greg and I are officially home owners to our very first home. We are so excited! This house needs a lot of tender loving care but with the help of our family we will get it done. This is a big project but we are so excited and cannot wait to see what it looks like when it is all finished. I cannot wait to live in our ne home!

Weekend Fun

This past weekend was probably one of the busiest weekends we have had in a long time. Between our house being torn apart and Greg's brother visiting from Hong Kong it was defiantly a jam packed weekend. Friday we went to an Angel's game with Greg's family and my family. It was actually my first night away from Dylan for a few hours. My step sister Carly came to watch Dylan and did awesome. I actually was not worried at all. He was such a good boy for her. We originally were going to bring him but with this weather lately I did not want to have him in this heat. We had a great time! Saturday we went to our new house to meet with some people and then had dinner at my sister's. Sunday was back down to the house to see how things were coming along and then headed to a BBQ. Poor Greg has been studying his little butt off for his test and now with the house the guy does not get a brake!! He is amazing and we love him very much.

First Grade

This last week our nephew Caleb started first grade. He was so excited!!

Dylan Baptism

9/7/12

This past weekend our baby boy had a very special day with the Lord. Dylan was Baptised. He was surrounded by his family that loves him so much. After his baptism we all went out for pizza and enjoyed the afternoon together. I always love when our family gets together. We always have the best time!

Acts 16:31, 33 “And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.”
