Happy Father's Day

6/25/15

A little belated Father's Day post, but it's never to late. This past weekend we celebrated Father's Day at my Dad and Step Mom's house. We celebrated my amazing husband, my super awesome Dad and my wonderful brother-in law. I am so thankful for my Dad and all the love and support he has given my sister and I throughout our lives. He was always there for anything and everything. He is also the greatest grandpa in the world. I love my husband so much. He is truly the greatest Dad to our babies and I cannot thank God enough for putting him in my life. He is the rock of our family! My brother-in-law is one great dad. He is hard working and loves his family more then anything....

We had such a great day! We ordered BBQ food and of course in any celebration I had to pick up a Susie cakes, that is actually right by our house now. If you have not tried it, you need to go get a slice of cake now!!!

Happy Father's Day!

Dylan Horse Thearpy

6/10/15

A few weekends ago Dylan started a program at a great facility near our home to work on "hippo therapy" to work on his core training and more over all stability in his walking. I was so excited to get him into this program. His teacher is also his PT at his therapy center so it worked out just perfect! I was so nervous for him to start because I did not know how he was going to react with putting a helmet on and sitting on the horse. Dylan exceeded my expectations more then I could have ever imagined. When he got on that horse and took his first loop around the arena, he had the biggest smile on his face and it brought me to tears. In that moment I had so many visions of his future and how well he is going to do in life and excel at everything he does. We are so proud of him and so excited to be in this program. We look forward to many more weeks and goals and accomplishments from this therapy.

Haylee Lynn:: Six & Seven Months

This last month has been a very busy one for our family! We have had meetings, vacations, birthday parties and all the daily tasks of work and therapy for Dylan. I feel so bad I have not updated on my sweet little "Roo Roo" Haylee girl....

I can't believe she just turned 7 months ( June 3) the time is flying by so fast with her. I feel like everyday she is doing and starting something new. Haylee is probably about 18 pounds and 24 inches tall. Her next appointment won't be till her 9 month, but I am pretty sure she is up there. She is already in 12 month clothes. I swear when I buy new clothes, I turn around to dress her in them and she has already out grown them. She just got her two bottom teeth and now the one on the top is working its way through. She eats almost everything, bananas, pears, apples, sweet potatoes, carrots, peas, green beans. Just last week I started to give her a little sippy cup with water in it so she can start to get used to that. This momma is already ready for her to get off of the bottle. Formula these is very expensive. She is sleeping between 9-10 hours a night and takes 3 naps a day about 1-2 hours.

Haylee's personality is really starting to come out. She laughs at everything her brother does and loves him to death. She trys to steal his toys and just as much as Dylan loves to steal her toys. Got to love the brother sister love. She has been getting up on all fours lately and I am pretty sure she will be crawling in the next month or so. She loves Mickey Mouse Club House and Baby Einsteins. She is always happy unless she is hungry or needs a diaper change. She has many faces and I love every single one of them. Haylee is always a happy little girl! We love you sweet girl...

These two and a friendship and bond that will never break...
