12/28/15

This month Greg's brother and his beautiful bride got married! They had there wedding at a beautiful place close to wear we live, and with an amazing setting! Isabella looked absolutely beautiful and of course the men looked handsome. We are so excited for the both of them! Not only because we have a new family member, but that they are welcoming there first baby in June of 2016. We can't wait for Haylee and Dylan to have a new cousin. Bobby and Izzy we love you guys!

School Festivities

12/17/15

Wow....what a month it has been so far! We have been pretty crazy over here in the Lopez house. Between school, therapy, holiday parties, Christmas shopping, holiday fun and anything Christmas, I really have not had much time to myself. I feel so blessed that Dylan goes to such an amazing school and is part of such an awesome community. They truly know how to make our babies feel special. This is my absolute favorite time of the year. With all the fun things that have been going on at Dylan's school for the holidays, truly make it that much more special!

A few weeks ago we got to take a field trip down to a local city to have the kids meet Santa Clause and put a handmade ornament on the tree. This tree is seen from so many people in the community, and used as their annual tree lighting- It really was an awesome moment! They had a fire truck drive Santa down, the city mayor was there and lots of fun gifts. Last week Dylan had a cookie making party and LOVED it. He has not been much of a sweet kid up until now. He has been wanting to eat all of the "cookiessss" as Dylan would say. They also had some kids from an elementary school come and deliver books to all the kids at Dylan's school for a very special Christmas present. They sat and read the books with them and sang Christmas carols. Then just this morning was his Christmas performance at his school. Can I just say-this by far was the cutest performance I had ever seen. The kids did awesome, and sang all of their songs they had been working so hard on. If  it were up to me I would have Christmas all year long. We ended with a school Christmas party doing crafts and decorating cookies. I can't wait to celebrate the holidays with my family and be thankful for all that we have. Love and Happiness....

Thanksgiving

11/29/15

Well with our first holiday down and now looking forward to Christmas, this year's Thanksgiving was very special and very quiet. In the morning we took a family walk with the kids and we are definitely feeling the chilly winter weather. Later in the afternoon we headed over to my dad and step mom's to celebrate Thanksgiving at there house this year. My sister and her family went to spend the holiday with some of their friends, and Greg went to his grandmother's house in the early part of the day to be with his family, and came over later in the evening to be with us. My step mom cooked an amazing and beautiful dinner once again. She always knows how to get our bellies full and keep us nice and stuffed....

I am thankful every year that our families can be joined as one and be all together around the holidays. It truly is special and I love my family very much!

The best turkey ever!!!

We had an amazing Thanksgiving, but the rest of the weekend was dedicated to decorating for the holidays, listening to Christmas music, enjoying wine and playing with the kids. Did I forget to mention that my mom and I did brave "Black Friday" and it was so much fun, and we scored on some big sale items. I think we may have a new tradition for the books....

I am feeling extra grateful this season and can't wait for all the fun holiday festivities and enjoy the holiday traditions we have started with our kids!
