30 Weeks::Baby Lopez #2

8/28/14

Well...can you believe it? I am almost 30 weeks. I have 9 weeks left! I cannot believe how fast this pregnancy has gone. At this point I am definitely ready to have this beautiful baby. Of course I want her to stay in there as long as she can, but I am getting much bigger and I cannot wait to meet her. This summer has been a HOT one so it has not been very easy. The good thing is that I am in an air conditioned office all day at work. I am holding pretty good with my weight. I am still working out as much as I can, but at a minimal pace on the elliptical. She is about 3 pounds now and getting bigger. Greg and I our guessing she should be around 8 pounds, but only time will tell. Dylan has now noticed my belly as he should. The thing is huge!! HA...

We are getting very excited to meet our baby girl and for Dylan to have a sister. My prayer is for these two to have a beautiful bond and I know God will ensure of that!

Vroom...Vroom

Dylan has been very into trucks and cars lately. So every time I am out I usually pick one up to add to his growing collection! The other day I picked a little monstor truck up at the store while grocery shopping for $3.99 and it has been his favorite ever since, along with many other ones that we have been collecting ever since getting home from vacation. The little and simple things in life that make you appreciate everything!! It was a little car that made Dylan the happiest little boy ever!

Family Summer Vacation 2014-Part 3

As I keep writing I feel like we were gone for months, well at least it felt like it. As we came to our last leg of our 10 day road trip. We finally made it to our last and final stop in Buelleton, CA, where we stayed at one of our favorite camping spots " Flying Flags RV Resort" We camped here about a year ago for the first time and fell in love with it. It's just a little bit passed Santa Barbara. It's not too far from home, but feels like you are getting away from the busyness of life. We arrived on Friday and stayed till Sunday.

This campground has so many things for the kids to do. Since being there the last time they have done some really big renovations. It's almost like a resort, but for RV Campers. They also have cabins you can rent that are really cool! These last few days were just our family and my sister and her family along with my mom. It was kind of nice just to relax and unwind before we got back to a normal schedule when returning home. This trip has been absolutely one of my favorite! I love my family and enjoy getting away with all of them. It's always nice to have a planned vacation once or twice a year to get away and relax. Till our next one!!!

Family Summer Vacation 2014-Part 2

The second part of our vacation was in Petaluma, CA which is just about 45 minutes outside of San Fransisco. It was a very little town with not much around. We picked this camp ground because it has so much for the kids to do. When we camp we like to pick camp grounds that have a lot of activities for the kids to enjoy. This is where we stayed Monday-Friday with our whole family. My cousins from Oregon came with their family, my aunts and grandma, my cousin from Santa Barbara and their family. We had about 25 people in our group! This was my favorite part of the trip. Spending time with my family is something I love to do because we don't all get together very often. I think the last time I saw my cousins and aunts from Oregon were about 3 years ago. So this was the first time in meeting our little Dylan. We did not get to the camp ground till later that day as our drive was about 6 hours. That night we enjoyed a big family dinner and lots of hanging by the camp fire.

The next day we wanted to venture out of Petaluma and go into San Fransisco city so the kids could enjoy all the fun things it had to offer. We took the ferry from Litto Island over to Pier 39 where it drops you off. The kids loved taking the boat instead of driving. We had lunch at this amazing little deli by the pier. After lunch we walked up to the Girdelli Chocolate Factory where we got the biggest ice cream cone ever! After that we walked back and went into some other little shops and tried to get the most out of it as we would only be spending one day in the city. The kids had a blast seeing everything and we had fun taking Dylan on his first boat ride!

By time we got back to camp we had just enough time to eat some dinner and get Dylan to bed. The kids were exhausted! This was such a fun day with the family and I really enjoyed the city. Greg and I both had not been there since we were little. Can't wait to go back again!

The next day we hung out around camp. We usually try to break it up so we don't get burnt out on doing things. We also want to feel like we are taking a vacation and relaxing. The kids swam in the pool, did arts and crafts, climbed the rock wall, jumped on the big jumping pad they had, went to the petting zoo you name it they did it.

The 4th day there we decided to take a drive to a little beach area over in Petaluma that my cousin new about. It's almost like this little beach town with some really neat coves. It was very cold once we got over there, but everyone was prepared with jackets. After a little sight seeing we took a beautiful drive over to a wonderful Italian restaurant that we all sat down and had a big family dinner!

It's always saying good by to our family when we all get together. I have always wished that my cousins and I would live close together. We are so close and I love all of them so much! We enjoyed an amazing week with our family and friends and we cannot wait till our next trip!

Family Summer Vacation 2014-Part 1

8/26/14

This year for our family vacation we took a 10 day road and camping trip up north. Our first stop was in Santa Cruz where we stayed at this beautiful camp ground with lots of trees, rivers and amazing sunsets. We left on Friday and stayed till Monday. We got there at around 3:30pm and got all the motor homes unpacked and like we do all the time had our first "cocktail walk" this is a fun tradition for our family. We take the kids for a walk or they ride their bikes around the camp ground at about 4:30 everyday, while the adults enjoy a beverage! Of course this trip I did not take part in having a cocktail, but I do enjoy the walks around the park!

This part of the trip it was Greg and I and Dylan, my sister and her family, my mom and then our dear friends Eric & Tayarn with their family. The first night we had a big family dinner and sat by the camp fire and enjoyed lots of fun stories and smores with the kids.

The weekend we were in Santa Cruz it happen to be the same weekend that "Thomas The Train" Was there doing rides through the beautiful redwoods. It's about a 20 minute train ride through the forest on this amazing old railroad. They had games, food, and lots of bounce houses, after you got off the train for the kids to enjoy and run around! The only down fall is that we literally had to hike 4 miles to get to this place. Let me tell you being 6 1/2 months pregnant it was not the funnest thing in the world.

On Sunday it was a day of relaxing and enjoying time around the camp ground. We hiked on a beautiful trail, the kids swam in the river, played pool in the pool haul and lots of other fun stuff.  It's so nice camping with the kids. They can ride there bikes, play in the pool and run around all day long while us adults hang out and enjoy our vacation! Dylan had so much fun playing with all his cousins and friends. On Monday morning we left around 9:00am and headed up to Petaluma which is 30 minutes just outside of San Fransico where we met up with the rest of the family!
