Santa's Train

12/9/13

This past weekend we were invited by some friend's of ours to join them for the "Santa Train" at a park near our house. They have a little girl who is 8 months older then Dylan . Of course this past week it has been some of the coldest nights we have had in a long time, so we knew that we would have to dress warm.

As we were driving into this park it seriously felt like we were driving into the winter wonderland of Christmas. This place was so cool and I had never seen so many lights! Dylan was looking at everything. The train is about 15 minutes and it takes you to the north pole where Santa is, so all the kids can meet him. It was pretty crowded and had to wait in line for almost an hour, but let me tell you it was all worth the wait when we saw the look on Dylan's face. When we got to the front I thought this was going to be the biggest disaster ever as this was the first time Dylan would meet Santa. I guess I thought wrong.. Dylan was the only one that smiled and laughed and thought Santa was the coolest thing he had ever seen!

Have you ever seen a kid so happy to meet Santa??

They also had snow, cookie decorating, fishing at the north pole and lots of other fun activities. We had so much fun that I told Greg this will be a yearly tradition for the Lopez family! We have been enjoying our Christmas cheer so far this month and we look forward to the next couple of weeks with more holiday parties, shopping and of course Christmas day!
