Santa Barbara Summer Camping Trip

A few weeks ago we took a family vacation to a beautiful campground in Buelletin, CA. If you are not familiar it is in between Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo.This was a new campground for us and we were very excited! We spent 5 days and of course wanted to stay more.

We went with my Mom, Sister, Brother-In-Law, Husband, Dylan and some very dear friends of ours. My cousin Jenna and her family came and met us there for a few days. We road bikes, BBQ, swam in the pool, one day the girls went and did some wine tasting..that was nice as I got some girl time!

Vacations are always a bitter sweet moment. It's so nice to get away and so sad to come home. The best part about our trip is we actually camped right next to a family with a son with down syndrome. He is 31 years old and the most amazing boy I have ever met. It gave Greg and I such hope for Dylan's future. We have since exchanged emails and phone calls with Mark and Carol ( mom and dad) and we hope this is a great start to a very exciting friendship!
