Dylan::15 Months

9/5/13

All I can say is " Where does the time go?"  The last update/post I wrote about Dylan was at 8 months old! That just shows you how busy we have been with our lives and our little man.

Dylan is now almost 15 months and he is growing like a weed. He is so full of joy, love and has a heart of gold! He is almost 25 pounds, he eats almost anything and everything. We are not quite off the baby food, but working on the big boy foods. He is finally off of formula and onto whole milk. We have gotten him to just a bottle in the morning when he wakes up and at night when he goes to sleep. He is not quite sure of the sippy cup/straw, but working on that everyday! He is not crawling yet but is almost there. He is trying to pull himself up on to tables and chairs, but this boy moves from one end to the room in 2 point 5 seconds. He has 4 teeth and has 3 more coming in as we speak. Dylan has been pretty good in the teething department, no major fevers or pain. He sleeps from 7:30 to 6:00am every morning. Greg and I are hoping he will start to sleep in just a little longer as he gets older as it would be nice for Greg and I come the weekends.

Dylan is up to 3 hours of therapy a week. He has occupational therapy, physical therapy and our in home therapist. Once Dylan turns 18 months he will then go into speech therapy. This little guy is one busy man. We have the most amazing team of therapist that will help Dylan in his journey of life and his development and we feel so blessed to have them apart of our lives! All around Dylan is right on track with everything he is doing. He talks up a storm and cannot hold still. The therapist are pleased with how active he is and they have no concerns as of now. That's our little Dylan!

Dylan also had one more surgery back in July. They had to go in a fix a vessel that was leaking in his heart. He did amazing as usual even with a minor set back after the surgery. We since have had his check up and everything looks great! Dylan should have no more surgeries, just annual check ups with the Cardiologist. Choc Hospital once again took very good care of our little Dylan and I don't know where we would be with out them.

We love you Dylan!
